How do I submit my lessons or progress evaluations?
Submitting Lessons or Progress Evaluations Online
- Log on to your course either from the “Log on” at top menu, or from the green “Access My Course(s)” button on the homepage.
- You will be prompted to enter your CDIS ID number and password.
- Your CDIS ID number is on your receipt; your password is the six-digit receipt number.
Sample Student Receipt:
- Once logged on to the “Main Menu”, select your course title.
- Once in your course, you may submit your lessons, check your progress, and request an exam.
Online Courses
- In online courses, you will submit most lessons or progress evaluations from within the lesson. Directions for submitting are included with the evaluation.
- Multiple choice progress evaluations are computer-evaluated and submitted online for an immediate response.
- Instructor-evaluated lessons may be submitted online with the course. If the course includes online submissions, you must submit your lessons online. Please do not mail, e-mail, or fax these lessons.
Courses with a Print Study Guide
- In courses that are not online, you may submit computer-evaluated lessons online or via the mail. Mailing instructions are included in the study guide. If you chose this option Fill in your answer form using a soft lead pencil and then return it to the Center.
- To submit the computer-evaluated lessons online, log in to the CDIS Web site (see above). Instead of selecting your course title, select “details” in the row with your course’s title and under the heading “Lesson/Exams.” From this page you can submit or preview a lesson. You can also request an exam.
Submitting Lessons or Progress Evaluations by Mail
Lessons that include components such as artwork or audiotapes may be submitted by mail. Please include your name, CDIS ID number (listed on the enrollment receipt), key code, and lesson number.
Submitting Lessons or Progress Evaluations Via E-Mail
When e-mailing lessons, please be sure to include your name, CDIS ID number (listed on the enrollment receipt), keycode, and lesson number in the subject line of the message. Also, please submit one lesson per e-mail only. If you have several lessons to submit, you may do so, but only as separate e-mails.
The lesson itself should be attached to the e-mail as a Word document. Some instructors will grade a lesson within an e-mail itself. In most cases, your graded lesson will be returned to you via email.
Submitting Lessons or Progress Evaluations by Fax
Please include a coversheet with your name and the total number of pages being faxed. The first page of the lesson itself should include your name, CDIS ID number (listed on the enrollment receipt), key code, and lesson number. It is also a good idea to have your name on each page of the lesson in case the pages become separated. The fax number for the Center is (573) 882-6808.
